Just Do It!

Chinese calligraphy: "Just Do It" in semi-cursive style. Original work. Unframed.

Action is the key to success. If we have clarity, we can overcome procrastination easily. "Just do it!" As  the Tibetan Buddhist Master Trungpa Rinpoche would encourage his students to sit, to meditate.

Patience

Chinese calligraphy: "Patience, Endurance". In Chinese origin, which is a kind of pictorial language, this word looks like there is a knife above the heart - patience has great virtue and great strength, it can take a lot. In the modern sense, "patience" also means slowing down, not hasty; be gentle to ourselves and others. "Being agressive, you can accomplish some things, but with gentleness, you can accomplish all things." As the great master Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche cited in his book "Ruling Your World."

Original work. Unframed. Sumi ink on textured beige gray color, golden flakes water-marked Chinese rice paper. 13" by 13". Signed with the seal of the artist: "Tao, the Way".

Joy

Life could be painful. Nothing is really what we expected. There is always something or someone that annoys us; sometimes it could be very overwhelming. We cry, we laugh, we feel indifferent... we go through everything at any given moment. But when you step back and look: all is very amazing - and beautiful - this precious life!

Let us enjoy every living moment, and love each other, love our life - why not? If this is all we have?

Original Chinese calligraphy: Joy. Sumi ink on textured rice paper, signed with the seal of the artist, which is an image of a rabbit.
